Major “Open gates” in Puebla for Dulevo

After a little less than two years, Dulevo Mexico and CIPSA are organizing another great event, at whose core is this time only sweepers and floor washers.

Thanks to the enthusiasm and the significant collaboration of Pablo and Marcos Mastretta, we succeeded in organizing the first official OPEN DAY at the Dulevo & CIPSA plant in Puebla, Mexico. The whole CIPSA commercial network – which reaches the number of 250 employees coming from all of the 32 states that make the Mexican Republic – had a meeting in Puebla on the last 25th January so as to be present at a day full of presentations and demonstrations, whose only protagonist was: The machine, in all of its forms. From the floor washers to the 5000s, with an unrivalled queen: The new Dulevo 52 WAVE, officially introduced for the first time in South America.

Nicola Chiapponi, the Dulevo Product Manager, and Marco Bardini, After Sales Manager for the Dulevo Hydro Power Line, have dressed the cloths of the demonstrators for one day and had fun introducing the various machines with great capacity and professionalism, enhancing their main features and showing their great sweeping capacity.

All the people present at the event remained absolutely stunned and were enthusiastic about the great results obtained by the sweepers; based on the incredibly powerful control over particles guaranteed by the Dulevo machines, CIPSA sales network could already imagine every possible scenario of employment for these machines: building yards, roads, public works, etc.

The day finished with a huge party at the 15th-century style “Las Bodegas del Molino” restaurant, once the theatre of the 2009 EVENTO de MEXICO.

Dulevo and CIPSA confirm once more on this occasion a collaboration and concordance that will leave little room to the competitors, both in Mexico and throughout the rest of Latin America, restating their commitment for the environment and the control over particles.

Ongoing Dulevo deliveries in Spain and Portugal

Within a policy which aims at the improvement of the environmental outlook of the municipality, Alcorcón – a small town at only 16 Km from Madrid – decided to introduce for the first time an automated sweeping system. And to do that, they chose Dulevo, what else? As of January, the new sweeping fleet has come into activity, being it composed of three Dulevo sweepers mod. 850 Mini and one Dulevo street washer mod. 5000 Hydro, which will carry out the everyday cleaning over the 33-km surface area of the town. Divided among the districts of Torres Bellas, parque Lisboa, and the Calle Retablo area, the three Dulevo 850 Mini’s can easily be operated, with no problem at all, through the streets of the historical centre, overcoming climbs and going through narrow lanes very easily. Another significant result for the Spanish market – a market that continues to invest in the environment and is choosing Dulevo as a partner company -, a trademark worldwide for excellent performance and brilliant results twinned with an environmental consciousness.

If Spain is moving on the road towards fighting atmospheric pollution, Portugal is doing none the less. Thanks to the purchase of a brand new Dulevo 5000 Evolution, Reguengos de Monsaraz (a little village of the Evora district, located almost on the borders) from today has an automated street sweeping solution. A Dulevo 5000 Evolution with Gore® filter was sold to Vadeca, the Dulevo dealer for street machines in Portugal, as part of a solution for the cleaning service of the whole town. Thanks to the high-pressure lance and the debris suction tube, this 5000 really represents the most complete solution for the cleaning needs of even a small centre in which it answers all kinds of cleaning necessity.

Dulevo returns to Ecomondo with style

By popular demand and after three years of absence, Dulevo has come back to Ecomondo with a brand new and environment-friendly stand, which outshines the competitors and will once again demonstrate that the major Italian manufacturer of sweepers, the inventor of the mechanical-suctioning system doesn’t fear any confrontation, well aware of the unchallenged quality of its products.

Practically alone in the streetsweepers’ sector, Dulevo has been able to welcome customers and visitors, who have surely been abundant in the four-day hectic fair. Thanks to the contribution given by the whole network of Italian dealers, Dulevo introduced the two top sweepers of its range, the Dulevo 850 Mini and the Dulevo 5000 Zero, this time presented with the new compressor for methane gas, designed in collaboration with BRC (www.brc.it).

The Dulevo engagements for 2010 have not yet finished; from November 21st to 24th, the French branch Dulevo France will be busy with the Salon des Maires, the most important French fair for town halls and municipalities. After that, as tradition has it, Dulevo will be present at the POLLUTEC showroom in Lyon between November 30th and December 3rd.

Dulevo and Dubai, a decennial collaboration

Since by now ten years, Dulevo rules in the United Arab Emirates. With almost 100 sweepers sold and scattered throughout the territory (cementworks, residential centers, airports, hotels and much more), Dulevo newly confirms its paramount presence in the Middle East.

It is recent the news, published on a blog dedicated to the environmental respect of the cities of Dubai and Deira, that the area of Dubai Marina has now a Dulevo 5000 Evolution operating, something that has substantially changed the inhabitants’ quality of life.

Thanks to the mechanical-suctioning system and the GORE® material, the Dulevo machines are ideal for particularly dusty environments, and Dubai – a veritable oasis in the desert – offers the best example.

This time, besides the machines, the main characters are the Dulevo dealers, who have kindly sent to the Italian headquarters pictures taken during trials and demonstrations. Trials for the street machines are incessantly continuing in UK

It was the end of 2008 when Dulevo succeeded in obtaining the long sought-after Type Approval, which corresponds to the Italian homologation, giving way to the penetration of the English market by these street-sweepers. Since then, more than 30 Dulevo street machines have been sold – among them the Dulevo 5000 Veloce, the Dulevo 200 Quattro and the Dulevo 850 Mini.

Haydn Buckland, the Dulevo Area Manager for the UK and Ireland, has extensively searched Great Britain for new dealers and – thanks to the precious contribution of our official Dulevo demonstrators – has been able to efficiently introduce the quality and reliability of the Dulevo sweepers. One of the most fascinating trials has been the one which took place in Douglas, the capital of the Isle of Man, where – in a rainy October day, in the windy chill of the Irish See – a Dulevo 5000 Veloce has challenged the competitor sweepers of the local municipalized company, right on those streets where the famous Tourist Trophy (better known as TT) takes place – a legendary motorcycles’ race, tremendously dangerous as much as fascinating, which indifferently takes place on country lanes and town streets.

At the demonstration, the most prominent governmental officials of the island were all present, along with two representatives of the Ministry of Transportation; one of the advisors, Mr. Ritchie McNicholl, declared he was impressed by the presentation of the machine, which however he had already seen in operation in Birmingham, during the 2008 RWM edition: “Never had I seen a machine capable of sweeping at 30 miles/h. Had someone told me about it, I wouldn’t have believed it. With the aim of widening year after year the machines’ fleet, the Douglas Borough Council purchased a Dulevo 850 Mini, an ideal machine for the city centre, with its steep ups and downs and its narrow and winding streets.

It‘s the beginning of a collaboration which bears all the premises to become a long-lasting relationship based on trust; as the motto of the island states, Quocunque Jeceris Stabit, wherever you’ll place it, there it’ll rise.

The President of Parma Calcio visits Dulevo

The President of Parma FC, Tommaso Ghirardi, has recently come to the Dulevo Headquarters in Fontanellato. The Parma Calcio has just begun the new A-League, imposing itself with a definite victory. Courage, clear ideas and ongoing scheduling have been the pivoting points which enabled the Parma team to remain in the A League last year, and constituted the base of a friendly chat between (owner of the enterprise “La Leonessa”, leader in earthmoving) and Armido Guareschi, President of Dulevo. All this to point out – as the Dulevo company philosophy always postulate – that when you rely on values such as passion and dedication, results and victories will be attained, always.

40 machines in Saint Petersburg and 20 in Milan

Few people know that Milan, the most important city in Northern Italy, and Saint Petersburg, the second biggest city in Russia, are twinned since 1961. A twinning that, in a certain way, has become even more apparent this summer 2010, with the two diverse municipalities opting for the same choice. Be it on the banks of the Neva River or along the Milanese “Navigli”, on the horizon you will always see the same silhouette, i.e. the profile of the Dulevo machines. Forty machines in Saint Petersburg and twenty in Milan, for a success which, day by day, is becoming more and more global. Let’s go into detail.

It was on December 28^th that AMSA, the Milanese municipalized company, sent to GUCE (Official Journal of the European Community) the contract notice for the supplying of “twenty mechanical auto-sweepers, including the installation of a sweeping facilitator, along with a full-service contract for seven years”. The tender was later awarded on June 24^th, after the machines (sweepers model Dulevo 5000 Combi) overcame a series of tests and studies of different nature: phonometric, dust-related, territory operational, etc. On August 23^rd, the fist machine was delivered to the AMSA seat in Olgettina street, and some further 14 machines are ready to leave within September 23^rd. The supplying will definitely be completed within January 2011. It is well known that, for many years, AMSA relies on the technology of the Dulevo sweepers, and this time the municipalized company has bet on a great novelty in the fleet of the Emilian company: the brand new Dulevo 5000 Combi, which is contemporarily street-washer and sweeper, in order to effectively and efficiently face all kinds of problems related to urban cleaning. In the meantime, at a distance of 3,000 Km, another huge success was presenting itself for Dulevo, which was opening, for the first time with great effort, the enormous gates of the Russian market, delivering the first four sweepers model Dulevo 200Quattro to the municipalized company of Saint Petersburg. And it is only a tenth of what is foreseen to be delivered. MARS Ltd, the exclusive Russian Dulevo dealer, won the tender for the supplying of machines for street cleaning: thanks to this great result, Dulevo has today the possibility to add to its long list of references also city of the Tsar court. Besides the quality of the sweepers produced by Dulevo, the success of the operation has became possible thanks to Sergey Martyanov, owner of MARS Ltd, who, since the beginning, has put trust in the collaboration with Dulevo and has personally invested for the good outcome of this initiative; in a period in which the global crisis is involving all sectors, thanks to his passion and his trust in the brand, it has been possible to obtain the necessary funding, while convincing the managers of the municipalized company, thanks to an intensive commercial action and a series of effective demonstrations of the machine during operation.

Dulevo can profess itself as very satisfied of the closure of this first semester, which – although the shadow of the crisis is glooming everywhere – has obtained and is obtaining important results, prestige and qualities in every corner of the world.

The Dulevo website broadens its contents and takes on a new look

For several weeks now, the new homepage of the main Dulevo website is online www.dulevo.com. More information, a section dedicated to the scheduled fairs, and a brand new box for the introduction of all of the novelty of the Dulevo group.

Even more intuitive and easy to navigate, the first Dulevo website now includes a section named “Industry” (where you can find the various models, divided according to the different fields of application); a section named “Dulevo in the World” (with photos, videos and texts of some of the most important deliveries of Dulevo machines all over the world), and the new pages dedicated to the new models “Dulevo 52 Wave” and “Dulevo 2000 Sky”, the monobrush of the DuleShine line and the DuleVac industrial and exhausters.

Dulevo, in the last months, is more and more investing in the presence on the Internet, and for this reason, besides the website www.dulevo.com, we also launched three mini websites, which revert to the main site, but in a light version (such as www.dulevointernational.com), exclusively dedicated to photos and videos (www.dulevo.tv), or exclusively dedicated to a specific area of products (www.dulevo-hydropower.com). In this respect, a great relevance has obtained the initiative introduced by Dulevo on July, whose objective is to possibly involve most dealers in the creation of a simple website, efficient and at a competitive cost at the same time. The Louvre chooses Dulevo for the cleaning of its forecour

Who doesn’t know the famous (or maybe notorious) glass pyramid of the Louvre Museum, in Paris? I believe no one. One thing few people know is that, for three months up to now, the cleaning service of all of the outdoor areas adjacent to the museum is performed by a Dulevo 850 Mini. It’s a whippy, agile and high-performance machine, which warrants an efficient and deep cleaning at any time of the day, also in the presence of huge crowds of tourists. Besides being a prestigious stage, the Louvre setting is also a really effectual testing ground, considered the amount of dirt and refuse, which builds up during the most intense touristic days. A challenge Dulevo is willingly accepting and that will be overcome with tranquility, warranting some astonishing results, as always. Someone even believes that sometimes the Gioconda overlooks from the window.
